This is your life?  It seems surreal that you finally have those cherished letters after your last name (or before it) and you truly should be asking the question, "What is next?"  That is where I come in.  My name is Dr Michael Thorarinson and I REALLY want to help you define early on what your mission is, should you choose to accept it.  Inside you will find literally everything I wish SOMEONE had told me when I first became a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.  From the normality of feeling completely inadequate, the complexity of human to human interactions, and even the "no man's land" of responsible prescribing of controlled medications, I have worked diligently to assemble what you need to not only feel prepared, but also to feel heard and seen.  Through The Magic of the Patient/Provider Relationship, I will show you what all those years of schooling hasn't... how to love what you do, and love those you are in the trenches with.  More than anything, the mission remains the same:  Change healthcare one positive conversation at a time.
